What is Play Therapy?
In a safe and accepting relationship with a trained play therapist, children are given the space to express themselves, explore feelings and experiences, and work through challenges in their own way.
Play therapy is a gentle, child-led form of counselling that uses play rather than relying on words.
Play therapy can support children experiencing worries, big emotions, friendship or family challenges, low confidence, frustration or change.
Rather than teaching or directing, the therapist creates the conditions for children to develop greater confidence, emotional regulation and trust in themselves.
